Never knew they existed until today. I know the KCI Korean mags are mostly trash, but what about the RWB Korean mags? They're cheap enough that I might buy a couple 26 round .45acp mags to test.

Any of you test them out?

know this does not help, as i cannot remember the actual brand, but had some off-brand 30 round 9mm that the plastic outside cracked, disintegrated, and just came apart,
the seller freely exchanged them (gun show in-person buy)
I'm thinking some giggle searches may turn up info on bad ones...

My sgm g21 mags have been OK, but I really haven't tested them enough. I'm generally extremely skeptical of any glock mag that isn't made by glock... curious to hear a range report if you decide to be a guinea pig!

Have you used the kci Korean glock mags and had problems or are you saying there trash because of online reviews? Not trying to be argumentative just curious if you have used them and what the problems you had with them is. I've got several kci glock 17 mags 17 rounders, 30 rounders and a 50 round drum. And they have all worked perfectly just like the factory glock mags I have.

RWB stand for Red, White and Blue. Over the last several decades, the hierarchy of Korean magazine quality was KCI, Khan, and RWB.

I know the KCI Korean mags are mostly trash ...

Is that from experience or decade-old internet complaints? KCI had problems in the past, but the company formed a subsidiary as their US distributor and substantially improved quality control.

I have had a number of KCI's current Gen2 Glock 17 mags for several years and have had no malfunctions with any of them. However, I did initially check each mag for overflash in the mag tube, which was previously the most common problem reported with KCI mags.

When I last owned a 17.3 about 7 years ago, I had two KCI 17 round mags, and they were always a headache. It may have been weak springs or overflash as you mentioned, but they didn't feed correctly and I rarely had a full mag work without issue. I then tested and like Pmags, but oem Glock were the ones I always kept.

For my current 21.3, I only have 3 x 13 round oem Glock mags. Was planning on getting some Kriss extended basepads to expand to 30 rounds, and go from there. That would use the Kriss basepads and extended spring, and the Glock follower, so it should be reliable.
