Sling, yes. I wouldn't put an optic on that style of AR. That's just my opinion.

I have a optic but I think I will stick with iron for now. Sling for sure.

You see sites on backwards all the time, especially magpul flip up sites.

Actually , To tell the truth. I did start to put it on backwards. I just happen to look down and see the instructions laying on the table. I wasn't going to tell that part.

I'm thinking about the carry handle. But maybe sometime later.
I've already changed the 30 round mag for a 10 round. Just don't like that big mag hanging there when all I'm doing is shooting at paper targets. No need for it. Just me.

Look awkward? The mag? Or the charging handle?

Neat, there's a lot you can still do with a classic build. A basic red dot and a moe handguard for light and sling mounting, and bam you have a Carbine set up for HD and general use!

The short mag look awkward? No. The long mag hanging on the bottom is and looks awkward for me. Just unnecessary. I have no need to load up 30 rounds at one time. 10 is more than enough.

10 rounders are very handy when shooting off a bench. I have a couple 10’s and 20’s for that specifically.
