I'm 99%sure I'm buying the used Benelli M4 my local shop just got in. I just can't decide what 922R parts to buy. They'll run from $330-$450 all in. I guess my biggest question is, replace the entire tube, or just add an extension? Has anyone removed the factory one themselves? I know it's loctited in place and requires a heat gun and a gentle touch, which makes me just want to add an extension and replace the other necessary parts to be compliant.

Thanks in advance.

I found a guy who machine great 7 rd tubs and cerakotes them. Removing and replacing tube wasn't bad at all.

Also as far as handgaurds go...the Mesa tactical truckee works great for me. It's way slimmer than factory. Also plan on the scalirworks cowhitness mount, but I want a circle dot reticle( good point and shoot for buckshot).

Ended up finding a company in the US that makes the hammer, sear, and disconnector. Had them installed, along with an oversized safety, and oversized G&G bolt release and the mag extension. Found a forum member who had a straight stock, just waiting on the adapter plate to install it and test fire again. Pics to follow.

Freedom fighter tactical and Briley were great for me when i modified my m4. Replaced the magazine with a carbon fiber. The handguard, trigger and optic with a holosun. Was pretty easy but they put a lot of red loctite on my magazine tube so really had to heat it up to remove the stock one.
