My Tractor Supply Christmas special safe I got for a song a few years ago has crapped out on me. It's a Cannon "36 gun" safe that actually holds 7 rifles and a few pistols and ammo and has worked with no issues until last week. The top two rows of keys (1,2,3 & 4,5,6) on the membrane keyboard have quit functioning, the only way I can get into it now is with the backup key. There is not much to that lock at all. I guess I could get a replacement assembly from Cannon but what other options do I have for a better quality lock? Are these things standardized enough so other options are available?

Digital lock face removed and backup key inserted. BTW the crap all over the safe is spider webs, lol.

There is more than one thread on CFF about how to do that. I've done 3 me own self.

The SG mechanical dial lock costs $105 on Amazon. You have to be real careful about following the instructions.

You could sell that piece of junk to me and buy yerself a bigger one... jus' sayin'!
