My local gunshop had this on consignment, I've been wanting one for a long time. Sig MPX rifle, with a trijicon MRO, carbon fiber handguard, 1 20 round mag, 3 30 round mags, 1 30 w/+11 taran extention, Sig original stock, and Sig side folding stock.

I bought an mpx and it caused me to buy my 1st mcx. It is a gateway purchase....nice setup man. Nothing but good experience with mine, save for the initial $ dent.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Looks like that might be the Gen 2, I may be wrong.

Heck, I didn’t even know there were any Gens when I got my Gen 3 from RifleGear.com in Texas. Buddy had me text him photos of mine and told me he could tell a Gen from a Gen 3 by the front handguard and flash suppressor …

Gen 2 has Keymod foregrip and 3 prong flash hider; Gen 3 has Mlok forearm and compensator; they also have different firing pins and barrel retaining screws; some Gen2’s use a firing pin spring and others do not—I know it’s crazy. If you bought it recently it almost has to be 2 or 3. I have not handled a Gen 1. The firing pins though are definitely different between 2 and 3.”

Another SIG fan boi and MPX 3-gunner in same group turned me onto InLeadWeTrust.com for parts:

AT THE VERY LEAST git yew a spare Extractor Assembly:

Oh yeah, this vice block sure comes in handy, if Santa is still waiting on any ideas from you!

CONGRATS AGAIN, Heckuva score!

Been keeping an eye out for an mpx, been kinda interested in them for a bit.

I bear allegiance to no firearms mfrs, I buy em all; and owning both, I can honestly say, if I had to do it all over again, I’d buy the JP-5. Hands down as a matter of fact. I bought my MPX to “hold me over” until my JP-5 could be built, which was Stoopid as, soon as I ordered both, the steel shoots at Foothills Public Shooting Complex got shutdown AND it turns out JP under promises and over delivers - they beat their posted build times … https://www.jprifles.com/1.2.18_JP-5.php

Theres also a new-to-me Glock mag compatible pcc out there, out of Nevada iirc that’s piquing my interest … but, I own way (way!) too many 16” pcc’s now but, *if* that company comes out w a braced pistol version of their pcc, well, “Take muh money!”

Still, an actual, MPX *K* beckons me; already have at least four braced 9mm pistols (1 CZ micro and 3 Stribogs) … I just can’t get that MPX *K* outta my head, haha!
