@eddie0225 could use a prayer for those so inclined.

I asked him if I could update the forum and got his permission. I put it in the chat but I know many don't look at that.

He's been fighting the battle for a while. Been through the chemo. Yesterday he had surgery.

He said it went well and they got all the cancer. He says he should be home Thursday 🤞🏻.

He's a fighter. He worked with me about 11 hours on Saturday. Then went through his surgery yesterday.
We had the serious talk about his journey. I could only hope to be as positive and upbeat if I had to ever face what he has.

He called last night right out of recovery, but had 0 recollection of it when we talked this morning. But was his usual smart assed self.

Well wouldn't say smart-ass more like dumbass lol

Stay strong brother. Hopefully I’ll see you again soon for a meat and greet.

He's in my thoughts and prayers
Cancer...man, that stuff is horrible
I hope the doctors got it all and he's ok moving forward

Yup. Guy I worked with for the last 6 years. Talked to him on the 8th. Everything was good.

Last week sometime, diagnosed with some kind of cancer. Ended up in ICU over the weekend and died Sunday night/Monday morning
Cancer ...we can put people in space, make robots like humans, but just unable to cure cancer.

Know about cancer, my other half was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer, when we settled on our house in SC. (Dec 2021) Decided to stay in MD. for her treatments, they did "targeted" radiation, chemo, now doing immunology treatment. Saw what it did to her, radiation / chemo on Friday's, she would be down till Tuesday's, fluids in her lungs, and all that. It takes a lot out of the person who has cancer both physically and mentally it drains them,, we put it in the man above hands, there's no greater power. Be positive, be strong.
She's doing way much better out and about, a little more like normal.

We finally moved in Jan 2023. This is "her" house down here.

Did I say I hate that "C" word

I recall his last post in chat a few days ago just before entering surgery. As a cancer radiation/surgery survivor that really hit me, as I recall the intense anxiety I had of that moment. The run-up to the surgery is exhausting.

Prayers up for a quick return to good health. Recover fast, Eddie.

Glad to hear the surgery went well. Continued prayers for a full recovery.
