Where is that? Was recently back behind the lines....
North of here, where they don't like guns and the salt air is bad for old bones and old steel.Where is that?
The 32 rimfire firing pin can be converted to centerfire pretty easily...
When you look at the firing pin, it has an extension that is not in the middle, for rimfire. You just weld another bit in the middle. Then, you ream the chamber to 32 S&W Long. It's a simple job for a good gunsmith.
I choot my rifles, an' I cannot reload rimfire. My 1890s 94 32 project will become a 32 S&W Long, and years ago my Cowboy 32 was converted to 327.Oh OK. I see that would make it more functional, but wouldn't that kill the collector value of the gun?

It's a matter of preference, and how much you paid for the "collector value" in a rifle. But I also have one in original condition chambered for S&W 32 (short). I like 32s a lot.
Mebbe I should get some pictures of my Vintage Leverguns to add to this thread... if'n the OP wouldn't mind.
Here is an 1895 Marlin Model 1892 .22rifle with 100 year old custom hand carved spidey checkering...
It's ruint... send it to me to put in my collection of misfit firearms...1873 Winchester in 44-40, born 1881. Somewhat unfortunate, it has been professionally restored...
