Neither will the fish. Nice work.
Those are very nicely made, how long have you been making them?
screw hardware won't hold up for northern stripers. Through wires are about the only way to go there...
Come up with a jumping mullet pattern just like these and you will not need anything else.
(And I’m assuming you’re making the whole lure from wood and then applying color)
What is the base wood? I ask as, in my experience, NE Stripers will chew stuff up quickly.
There is a website called stripersonline.com. Be careful that you don't add an extra "p" in the address. Could make for uncomfortable questions from the boss.I know there's a stripper joke in here somewhere... I just haven't thought of it yet...

Now the question is "How many of our fellow degenerates typed in the stripper website address to test it out?"Just like White House . Com versus White House . Gov

Awesome work. Are you adding any weights in the baits, if so how. I’ve only messed with Amazon blanks, really want to try making my own bodies but there isn’t enough time in the day so far.
I will likely take you up on that offer at some point. Are you just using regular poplar boards like Lowe’s or Home Depot sell?I don't have the weight thing down yet. I just used some old egg sinkers with a " yeah, that should do it"
I tested down at the river as I went. The most trouble was the position of the weight. A few of these have lots of wood filler in the old holes.
If you need any shop tools, bring the wood and we'll get you sorted.
O, you has a big pond at your house?I’d like to try out a couple of them on top water bass at the big pond at the house.
