I have a group of freinds who pretty actively coyote hunt. I purchased an ATN Thor 4 thermal 2-8x 386 (used) and put it on a PSA 18" 6.5 Grendel. It plants them. At 100 yds, it puts a fist size exit hole. We also use the Bogpod tripods. So went to a new spot yesterday that a farmer called us about where he had a few calves lost. So the first one was a big male, he weighed in at 40 lbs+, then the two other stands were two smaller females. Place is eat up with them, and the farmer was happy. The video on the second stand looks wierd, we had to move to get a clear shot away from the cows, the Recoil Activated Video records 5, 10,15seconds before and after the shot, so it picked up the move. She was just standing among the cows, and we had to shoot fast. She was about 125 yds. The big male in the first stand was about 100 yds, , and the last stand was about 100 yds. All of those vids are without any magnification.
