What makes you think your statement is accurate?
I don't see the "woke" content. In the published article what is "woke"?
Perhaps I used the wrong verbage in that post and did not convey my thoughts properly. Lemme try it again. Owed, as in answer to, if I recall correctly Sterling Partners. This crap got blown out everywhere when they flip flopped around on the entire Rittenhouse saga.
Sure they hold three letter positions with the company but *based on everything I’ve read* over the past year or two, they answer to their investors and their investors were (maybe still are) steering their positions.
Perhaps I am completly wrong and these clowns are just dumb enough to alienate segments of their customer base all on their own. They’ve done a stellar job of it.
I'm kinda with them.
The only problem for the coffee guys is that, as the culture wars have divided America, they seem to have decided they don’t like many of the people on their side
the right has just as many lunatic fringe types as the left. There more than few on this forum whose keyboard commando antics are just as damaging to our country as the whack-a-doodle progressives.
Isnt the same true for the right? The left attributes objectionable actions associated with those groups as being limited to a few misguided individuals, with a strong suggestion they may be right-wing plants. And the left often even offers justifications and excuses for the actions of the misguided few.
Isnt the same true for the right?
How many times has it been said that ANTIFA members infiltrated the group on Jan6 and lead/started the Capital breach?
I dont, I didnt dig into it, honestly. You know there are photos of them doing that?

Evan just released a statement on his IG talking about the NY times article.
Bottom line is they whole reason they allowed NY Times to be with them was to have a voice and platform for veteran issues. BRCC setup interviews with disabled veterans, and non-profit's they support.
Instead of reporting that info the reporter asked questions about racists, etc. Evan told them that racists have no place in his company, working or as customers.
That is the genius of this story

One of them featured a Renaissance-style rendering of St. Michael the Archangel, ... Hafer said he learned from a friend at the Pentagon that an image of St. Michael trampling on Satan had been embraced by white supremacists because it was reminiscent of the murder of George Floyd. Now any plans for the coffee bag had been scrapped. “This won’t see the light of day,” Hafer said.
You know there are photos of them doing that?
Where are all these racists that are causing so much trouble? Can we see them?
That's fine, just be open about that, own it. And be prepared to eat the crap sandwich if you alienate a customer base when you do.
I still don't get firearm-themed coffee. You guys buy Mossy Oak garbage bags too?
See post #68, it is just another in the long line of nails on the BRC coffin.I am kinda confused about the outrage....I am pretty sure the NY Times didnt print a transcript of their entire interview verbatim...I am pretty sure they cut it up to make it as controversial as possible....and it seems like it is working just as intended
