Hey all,
I have a 10/22 that I would like to use as a suppressor host. Unfortunately, I did not plan ahead when I bought the rifle 8 years ago and I have a non-threaded standard 18 inch model, with tech sights installed.
I have done the math and I am torn between buying a new threaded barrel, or biting the bullet, and getting my existing barrel threaded. There is still life in the existing barrel. As far as my research has shown, the prices are about the same, unless I get a good deal on the smithing.
What does the hive mind think? New, factory threaded barrel, or thread my existing barrel?
Thanks!
