Yea but you would feel like you accomplished something when you got it to it final resting place. There will be much less appreciation for it THAT way....

Yeah, I need a ramp and the 2 healthy dudes part...You, a hand truck and one or two healthy dudes can move that one no problem. The need for a professional mover comes in when you start talking about 1000 lb + safes.
How about finding a landscaping crew working in your neighborhood and asking if they'd like to make $50 each for an hour's work?
I don't have a "neighborhood," in fact my neighbors are turkeys, deer, and apparently Bobcats who like to spray our cars... on top of that, I definitely don't want a bunch of unknowns in my house. How about finding a landscaping crew working in your neighborhood and asking if they'd like to make $50 each for an hour's work?
That part I have covered, it's the in and out of the truck bed I gotta solve.2 people with 3 or 4 pieces of 2 inch PVC can move a BIG safe once it's on a flat area. Put the PVC underneath and keep pushing and replacing PVC with the one in the rear. Really, it's surprising how easy it is. 800 pounder is a piece of cake.
Turns out one of the ladies in the office here knows someone with a moving company, and I may not even have to lift a finger, just give them $100 and I'm done! Crossing my fingers.
Those people are bonded and insured. What was the difference in these random people vs other random people? Its still random people knowing you just bought a nice, big gun safe.
If you dont have A (ONE) healthy friend that could help you for half an hour of work I feel bad dude.
The door lifts off of the hinges. Be careful, there will probably be a washer on each that might get stuck to the door, dont want to lose it/them.

like the idea of a safe inside a safe, good place to hide snacksDrakes are great. Nice fellow, and he delivers into the house.
I got a big one too since I'm considering getting a second gun someday.

SIX?! Why would anyone need that many pistols!!!!!
One in the kitchen,
bathroom,
living room,
two in the bedroom.
One in the car.
That's just getting started. He needs at least 6 more

Lucky or living right? Which one? Fess up.
When I told him I may have to reschedule (the truck I was gonna borrow wouldn't run) he just said if I bring him $250 cash at 1pm it's mine. I was there at 12:50 in my wife's SUV. He's apparently moving, and has owned the safe since it was new, even gave me all the original paperwork.
I'm gonna have to add a light, shelves, and door pockets, but I'm happy with it.
Maybe I did, maybe I did.I bet he got up this morning and tried the combo again... you know, just to make sure it still worked...
I would run something. Either a dehumidifier (the crystal rechargeables are easy) or golden rod. I run both. So, I have this safe inside a closet at the center of my house. My house is temperature and humidity controlled, and I've always kept my guns in my closet without issues, but should I still use desiccant or some other dehumidifier inside this safe? I have power run into it through a grommet in the back for lights, and I have outlets available if a dehumidifier is recommended?
