As Jason mentioned above, I was going that route until I decided to try an RMR. I'm going to use the CQC holster you and I ordered this week, and trim it a bit to allow for the RMR to fit.@chiefjason is making a leather version for @BigWaylon and a few others.
Silencerco Maxim 9Screw it, I'll ask - what the hell is that?

Several of us have bought them in the last couple weeks. There were some ridiculous deals on them, and you got another free pistol or rimfire can from SiCo when you bought one.Thank you, never seen one before
Yes trigger works fine, pistol is very quiet. I’m very happy with it, even though I picked it up before all the great dealsDoes yer trigger work?
Yes but Farmer Smith's daughter was allways ready to go and didn't need much lubing. Also the greatful dependable type.DAMNED!!! And here I thought Glocks were the ugliest thing since Farmer Smith's daughter, I guess I was wrong....
I humbly recommend Steve's Custom Kydex. He can make most anything but you'd have to coordinate it so that you can take it to him and be there when he makes it. Due to it being an NFA item and I doubt he has a blank.

Making a drone is not terribly complicated. Kinda spendy resin.
Thin Polystyrene and crummy home made shop vac powered vac table, mine's not large enough for this project. There' a video out there somewhere. Haven't poured them yet cause I'm lazy, have three shells waiting. Not too complicated but have you even made one? I have. And nearly ruined a gun doing it. That silicone you use for the mold is thin enough to get everywhere, including in every crack in the gun. lol Oh, and the results were less than spectacular. It also cost more than the commercial molds out there. If I think I can manage it, it's easier to just buy a gun to use. My guess is one of the smaller makers would jump on this if it was not for the NFA and price point.

How long would the wait be? You talking an hour? 4 hours? All day?I'd be willing to take a crack at it. But you'd have to come with the gun and wait while I do it. Double layer kydex taco on a teklok or bladetech paddle shouldn't be too hard to pull off. Won't be subtle, and won't be a CCW rig LOL.

How does kydex handle heat? I assume we'd have to let the gun cool down most of the way before reinserting it?
Will this mean you can make a second one without a gun?I'll know more after Sunday when I make my first one for this gun. But probably 2ish hours.
Kydex, when heated, will deform. Would depend on how hot the gun gets, but yeah, probably....
Nope. Will this mean you can make a second one without a gun?
Look! I'm trying to benefit from your and @rantingredneck 's hard work.
Nope.
That means mines half price right?Considering this thread, you might want to consider knocking a couple out if you have time. If I could get my hands on it, and get something I was happy with, I'd probably make a few of them.
You could charge double for not having to bring the gun to you.

I am a very patient personWill greatly depend on how long the first one takes and how much patience and time Lee has Sunday LOL.
