How’d that go? I’ve never stopped. If they’re checking somebody else’s, I go around. If not, I don’t even look their way and walk right out.Ever seen the youtube videos of the walmart door greeters trying to stop someone that doesn't show receipts? Well that crap just happen to me.
Yup! everything in my cart was bag.The Walmart in our town no longer has door greeters, but I got checked a couple of times when they had them,
They asked to see my receipt, I complied, then went on my way.
Guy said they mostly checked people who had stuff that wasn't in a bag, like cases of drinks or large non food items, like the paper sherder I had in my cart.
Interesting. I’d have guessed it would’ve been more like Lowe’s/HD, where they wouldn’t dare touch you. They’re instructed to just let people leave.Soft hands were involved. He tired to prevent me from leaving with my property. Talked to LP guy which the door greeter called on his walkie talkie. LP is a cool guy.
I’ve always thought if it came down to it, I’d simply walk over to Customer Service and return it all for a refund.
Happened to me about ten years ago here in Raleigh, people lined up for the receipt checker, one woman with two kids, lot of food, ice cream and milk, all getting warm while the idiot was looking at each and every line item in a fully loaded cart.I just walk, I think they've asked twice I showed on those occasions, when I see people get in line I smirk and walk right on out.
I paid, I'm not waiting to leave. I don't think things would end easily if they touched me.

(The one thing at CM I haven’t had a chance to try yet is the online order pickup tower)
Since 10 years has passed, I hope you're still not buying that Bryer's crap. There is much better ice cream available.Happened to me about ten years ago here in Raleigh, people lined up for the receipt checker, one woman with two kids, lot of food, ice cream and milk, all getting warm while the idiot was looking at each and every line item in a fully loaded cart.
I just walked out the door with my Bryer's Butter Pecan, the receipt checker yells 'Stop him he is stealing"!!!
I keep going, I used self checkout that had a live cashier running the stations. I get outside and a hand is placed on my right shoulder, I stopped and said 'Take your hand off of me or I am calling the police", the hand came off and I walked away and did not look back.
That Butter Pecan is hard to beat though.Since 10 years has passed, I hope you're still not buying that Bryer's crap. There is much better ice cream available.
That’s great response.Show me your badge & articulate your probable cause, or this conversation's over.

Just bought that last night.
The Walmart out here in Locust is pretty nice for the most part.
They employ either older retired folks or those who need a helping hand in life as greeters.
They’ve never asked for a receipt but I reckon I’d drop a Diamond Dallas Page inverted suplex on a mofo regardless of their chromosome count.
That hurts.

Why so concerned what they do when they paid I full and don’t like being detained? What is wrong with you people that somebody doing their job at the door is such an invasion of your privacy that you're ready to start a war over?
Do you think that they aren't trying to do the job they were tasked to do... that they're overstepping their authority?
If this is such a big deal you should probably shop elsewhere.
hahaha...I have diet coke in my nose. That hurts.
