What solvent are you using to remove copper from your rifle barrels? I run a bore snake through the barrel after every session with a CLP (Gunzillow) on the snake.
Same here. Also, applied with a nylon brush.Sweets 7.62, but do not leave it longer than 10 or 15 minutes.
Then clean the barrel and flush it before putting more Sweets in if needed.
Turn the rifle upside down if you don't want to remove the action from the stock. With most of these cleaners do you need to take the action off the stock? One said do not get it on any wood.
The nylon brush is the most important piece of info you can give someone using Sweets for the first time. They’ll be like “where’d my brush go???”Same here. Also, applied with a nylon brush.
I like the Montana Extreme products also. I use the bore cleaner for maintenance and the copper killer stuff for deep cleaning. Strong stuff and will knock your socks off if you get a good whiff by accident.Butches Bore Shine

Sweets 7.62...…. IS STRONG, use in a well ventilated area.
