If you watch the whole video you can see two completely polar opposite interactions with the police. One is out of his mind shouting “I got my rights to do anything I want to do, I’m a police officer."

Lawrence Township Chief Constable Terry Burns told NBC News on Tuesday he fired the constable in the video within two hours of viewing it. He also said Jones had been in the role for about 20 years. Jones could not immediately be reached for comment.

That man was a sorry LEO. Good thing he was not armed. Could be a volunteer position.
Proof police can lie to us and may or may not understand the laws they are charged to enforce.

Hope they follow up with civil suit, even if they don't go all the way, it will cost him some money to hire a lawyer. Civil Rights violation.

Nope. And nope.

I've noted in the past that while I want to believe these are isolated and not representative of most officers, every time I see video of evidence planted, bullying, intimidation, or lying, there are always other LEO at the scene either aware and not intervening or actively participating. Finally, here is one that shows the professionalism that I think is more the norm. And the chief didn't "investigate" and "decline comment pending investigation", he tossed the bad officer immediately. Good for him, he considers the integrity of the badge more important than blind fraternity.

People say guns and alcohol don't mix, and it's difficult to argue with that. But I think I could find more examples of bad tempers and guns getting people in trouble than alcohol and guns.

I would venture to say being armed and feeling the need to impose your will on others is far more dangerous than alcohol and temper in conjunction with firearms.

Often these Constables are volunteers and are often unpaid but big donors to the department.

They were just making sure they all got home safely.

The one at 2:40 is hard to watch. Nothing like kicking the snot out of an unconscious person!

The sound track makes me proud/happy...
The video content makes me sick.
