Never been to the Harley place to know how many boobs they have there…but yes, Iron Thunder is in that area.

Curious, Birkdale or CM? How long ago? I haven’t been to either location in probably a year but many times before and they’ve been great.
 
This crowd might indeed be out of place in Birkdale...

EDIT: Maybe sit outside at "Which Wich" and grab some cigars if that place is still next door, lol.

We eat at the CM location once or twice a month. Works well for meeting my mom for lunch after church on Sundays. Never had any kind of issue.

But I can understand being turned off by an experience as bad as his.

Think we should do 11:15a instead? I’ve never been there during the week for lunch. Might wait to make that call once we see how many respond.

Any of you guys able to carry a package for me back up towards Lake Lure after lunch? Need to get a couple hundred primers up to @contender so he can teach a guy to reload.

BTW…I’m thinking we can sit outside, so we won’t bother anybody else (unless they come outside). As of now, high is only 82°, so it shouldn’t be too bad. Outside will be easier if we add a few more people as well.

Normally I’m not a “choose outside” guy for meals, but I think it should be ok with this crowd/weather/restaurant combo. It’s the coveted area on the end of the building.

Im out - I have to go to Cabarrus courthouse on Friday (morning), so two trips in two days down that way aint gonna happen for me.

Ok, here’s a little update. I stopped by there today just to give them a heads-up. They won’t do any kind of reservation, block off seating, etc. They wont seat a group until at least 75% of the party is there. Problem with that is I don’t know how many are actually coming. I see 10 RSVPs, but expect some to show that never voted, and some that did wont show up. I told them I expected 7-15.

The outdoor area has room for at least 20. If we get there 11:15-11:25, I’d think we’d be fine (they open at 11). We’ll put 2-3 at the first table, the next 2-3 can take the next one, and we’ll spread out from there. My thought was to try and claim the wooden bench on the outer edge, which has three tables.

As an option for any future gatherings, PDQ has this side room which was completely empty at 11:49a today.

Love the concept, but can’t make it.
Next time.
 
We can always sit at different tables in case it starts getting busy as to reserve the table until everybody gets there.

Or if you want to change it to PDQ. Never ate at one but I’ll give it a try. Doesn’t matter to me
