Thoughts on her?
I'm assuming its a re-built 352, and weren't a lot of 360's stamped 352? I thought I remember reading about this before.Nice looking truck. But I've never heard of a ford 352 v8
Listing as 5000 miles is a bit sketchy as well
Yes. My dad and brother both had 352 Ford gas engine trucksI'm assuming its a re-built 352, and weren't a lot of 360's stamped 352? I thought I remember reading about this before.

I agree, black only seems to work on new trucks or old trucks that are slammed and kind of ratted out imoThat thing needs chrome bumpers and either chrome or polished wheels.
Nice ride otherwise.
Came out in 1958..the first F motor.I've never heard of a ford 352 v8
looks good but I'd put my 20k somewhere else.
It's 43 years old....it was and is and has been used as a work truck. If you like it for what it is, then that's all that matters. Your money spend it any way that you think Might make you happy....just expect to get to know that truck Really well in the coming days.Nice looking on top with nice paint and clean motor. No pics of the undercarriage.......makes me wonder if anything was done there or if this is a slap some nice on it and let the next guy deal with bushings and mounts and rust..........

I bought an 84 model when I graduated college....one of the best trucks I ever owned....A boy asked me one day If I wanted to sell it and I threw a price on it. I didn't think he had any money anyway. The next day he brought his Dad with him to look at the truck and they drove off in it.....Regreted it ever since....big sigh.....šThere is this one

Ford F-150. I believe it is a one family truck. It has been in a garage for the past three years. I put a new fuel pump and dumped the fuel. I drove about 5 miles to see state of truck. Drive train was solid no issues.ebayvehicle.com

The bad thing about the whole thing.....I had to see the truck all the time and the boy totally trashed the truck over a couple of years... It was super nice when I sold it to him... It finally wound up at the scrap yard....A wise man told me something after that happened....Never sell a vehicle to someone you knowI can think of two times that happened to me and I sold vehicles I now wish I would not have.

Ouch!!!š¬ gotta hate that....please don't tell me they were something like a chevelle or camaro or something like that
vegas are cool especially with a small block...Like the old bugs too....Bought a wrecked 73 bug one time to be a donor for a rail buggyCrash was a Chevy Vega, blown motor was a VW bug.

That looks like a vertical divider to me and I'm pretty sure its a 77 grill. I do agree that the grills get swapped around on those trucks...I've got a buddy that has a 75 with a 79 grill and headlightsI would shy away from it. The FE 352 is not correct for that truck. Going by memory the 352 ended in 76 and that does look like a 352 by what I can see in the pics. The 5 bolt pattern on the valve covers and the intake runs under the valve cover are dead give aways for it being a FE. In 4WD that truck should have had the "M" series 351M400 engine backed with the C6 trans and either the NP203 full time case or the NP205 part time case. It does have selectable hubs up front but thats no guarntee of it being the preferred NP205 part time case. The shift pattern on the t-case shifter would answer that question. Many put selectable hubs on the full time 4WD trucks to try and gain fuel mileage but that is not a proper conversion and still left you with the weaker chain driven case VS the stronger gear driven case of the NP205. 2WD had a few other engine options but this one is obviously 4WD. Also that is a factory air conditioned cab but there is no a/c compressor shown which would have been mounted high on the drivers side of the engine. Also the heater/AC controls are missing from the dash and would have been above the radio slot. As far as the grill/headlights it may be correct depending on the original trim level of the truck. The lower models of the custom and ranger had the round headlights but when you bumped up to ranger XLT or ranger lariat you got the square headlights like all 79 models had. That is not a 77 grill as mentioned earlier as 77 had a vertical divider in the center of the grill. Grills, grill shells and headlights are often swapped around as anything from 73-79 all fit that front end. Bottom line for 20K I would not do it on that truck with out much more info/inspection.
LOL....Thats something like what I usually do....There cant be two of us getting mixed upšLMAO, dont know what the hell I was thinking or looking at. You Sir, are correct..... And on closer inspection I do believe that truck has the full time NP203 transfer case and someone put manual hubs on it. There is a small rectangular light on the bottom of the dash towards the center. That would be a lock indicator for one of the positions on the 4WD that only came with the NP203.
