Just use CA compliant mags, 1 round only, requires a tool and a note from your mom signed by the principal to change mags in under 30 seconds.

Did CCI then give their signoff that 17HMR is OK in semi-autos now? I know they said 'no' after a bunch of problems with the first 22/77s and other semi-autos hit based on modified 22mag designs when the cartridge was new.

B&T suppressors - has 500-600 different model specs, every one they've ever made is still available (special/made to order), main line of suppressors premade, goes over some of the nomenclature, main line rifle cans are all surefire and hub compatible, also has NATO/A2 FH mounts in HUB




Olympus Arms Vulcan - In case you wanted a long recoil operated AR10, also supports .277 fury, neat design but I'm not sure how useful it is, MSRP $6795




HUX flow 22 ti - 3.9 oz, rated to 5.7, completely sealed, "suppressor sauce" mix that you soak it in to clean (lol)

I was very interested in the Mepro until I watched the video. Redesigned housing, different color, same problems as the original.
Who am I kidding? I still might pick one up if they dip to $300.
 
SDS Hi-Power repro - original spec of the Canadian hi power mk3, even accepts the original parts, also making some models with variations - starting msrp $489




Shadow systems suppressor - 9mm can, Ti blast baffle, 7075 Al for the rest, modular/2 parts, endcap can use the slide rails as a wrench

 
KGM clip on suppressor - finally coming to the US. Clips onto the rail so no threaded barrel needed, low enough for factory irons, FA rated, shoots like it's stock since it doesn't move with the barrel. A Glock and a VP9 model and a kydex holster. Avail. early summer. Also bringing their .mil/le portfolio to the consumer market like a Ti 50 cal suppressor and a belt fed specific can

* X57 has a rearden muzzle device, mbus pro, sb tactical brace as well as stock kits, radian raptor ar15 CH, 40 rd mag
* Sabre Dagger - beveled mag well, pmag with +5 mag extensions (x2 included), threaded barrel, rmr cut, zeferi precision barrel and slide, upgraded trigger, under $1k, duty and "micro" (looks more like compact) sizes
* 308 jakl - pa10 lowers or proprietary option that skips the adapter, monolithic upper, 8 pos gas block, keymo, same size handguard/rail as the ar15 so it's not super thicc, 13.7/14.5/16/18" barrels, launching in 308 then 6.5CM
* Vuk - ar trigger/grip/safety, 556 first, 8 pos gas block w/ front sight, non recip ambi CH, ak19 style dead air muzzle device from JK Armament, will have other options as well
* Olcan - "little wolf" in irish, takes any intermediate cal jakl upper, ar grip/safety, proprietary trigger, compared trigger to a GI trigger, working on upgrade trigger kits
* 570 shotgun - idk i zoned out

people have been promising this kind of can for at least a few years... that still looks like an early prototype

I agree, it is such a cool idea there must be some fundamental reason it is not viable.
My guesses:
-alignment between rail and bore not consistent enough to prevent baffle strikes
-muzzle blast puts too much stress on rail
-muzzle blast deflects the mount enough to cause baffle strikes

So I can upgrade my current 30rd (23rd w/ a +7 extension) to a 40…nice. Considering I can carry three of those at a time, I might be at 144 rounds with my Rock instead of a measly 114 rounds. 😳🤣
 
Found some info on the PSA SABRE Enhanced bolt. It looks an awful lot like the KAC design with the bigger and radiused lugs as well as dual ejectors. Comments mention the KAC patents are reaching their expiration dates so maybe we're gonna see some durability improvements in the AR world again.
