The Super Bowl usually has a lot of proposition bets, or prop bets. They can be related, like how many passing yards will a quarterback have, bet as over/under, or will the first play be a run or pass. Others are seemingly unrelated, like will the coin toss be heads or tails. This year there appears to be a prop bet on the color of Reba McEntire's boots and whether she'll sing the National Anthem in 87.5 seconds, bet as over/under.

Also this year, there is a list of Taylor Swift prop bets. Have fun.

Pretty conservative, there…

Camera will pan to her at least 6 times during the first half and likely, the first quarter. I want to watch it, but probably will not make it 10 minutes in without turning it off…

I don’t tune in to watch Taylor…I tune in to watch foosball.

At this point, I’m hoping SF wins, just to put a damper on things.

My bet is that this might be the most watched Super Bowl ever, with millions of teenage "Swifties" tuning in to get a glimpse.
 
The whole prop bet thing is very interesting and shows how large of a gambling problem some folks have.
Yes, I get it's just for fun...for most. But, still.

And TS will be shown WAY more than 6 times.

I have no problem with Swift, no problem with anyone playing in the game or, likely, be at the game and possibly on camera. But like @Dale Gribble said, I watch for football, not for a popstar in a booth. It was very annoying seeing so much of her during the playoff games.

Dont care who wins tomorrow, though if Im pulling for anyone it'd be SanFran just because they havent won in a while. No player is someone Im really a fan of from either team, same for the coaches etc. I look forward to, hopefully, a good, close game. I'll have some snacks for myself and my wife, that'll be nice.

I understand that it's reported that someone will be singing the "black national anthem," Im curious to see if that actually happens. I do hope not. I really dont like the idea of anything being sung except for THE National Anthem and America the Beautiful (which I think is being sung by Post Malone, the other by Reba).

It's always nice to see the Peyton Manning Trophy award - contrary to what many will come in here and say, there are a lot of these guys who do a LOT of good in their communities, so it's cool to have that put on display. I think it's really awesome of the NFL to highlight players for what they do off the field instead of only on-field.

as posted in another thread....i have a 1/750 bet for overtime.
1. does the clock have to be running to count as "during the game" ?
2. what if Brittany/K.'s Mom hug TS? does that count?
3. does a Network promo insert count if TS is shown?
4. will a pre-recorded image/video count?
5. there are so many more questions.

A guy I used to work with had been SF in either Iraq or Afghanistan and took a round that required a stay at Walter Reed.

A lot of celebrities and politicians visited bringing along a camera crew. They were only visiting to be seen visiting.

Not Peyton. He came in the side door to avoid the press and just hung out for hours with the guys and shot the breeze, guy talk. Not pretentious at all. He even gave them his personal cell number in case they ever needed anything. He said Payton was just a pretty cool guy. That makes him OK in my book.

I'm a little confused. It's the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. So did Walter Payton visit Walter Reed and hang out, or Payton Manning?

Wait, there’s a black national anthem? What is that from, Liberia or something? Why play it at a US event?
