2A Fence Sitter —> New Gun Owner Due to Riots

They respond with 'well just go to your house'.
I hear this one too. Unfortunately it means they still haven’t woken up yet. They realize they can’t wait for police to come save them so now they want you to protect them. No thanks. The idea that you’re responsible for your own safety/security is a tough one for some to swallow.

My response to those people is usually a laugh and something to the effect of “you better have something to offer when you come knocking.” I don’t need you for conversation, my wife talks a ton as is :D

Dave, do not be happy that a person cant buy a gun now. I know you wish more had been into guns sooner, but it's just how it goes.
Be happy he WANTS one and is actively looking, not that he cant buy one and defend himself/family/property

There are differences in being amused at a situation and laughing at his new found desire to own a gun. He's a decent guy but didn't think in the US that the cops couldn't/wouldn't protect him. When shown USSC precedent dating back to the 70s, he was shocked.

Now when it comes to an out and out Dem libtard, it's quite difficult to not have a raging case of schadenfreude.

What riots? Those are called “mostly peaceful demonstrations.” Just ask CNN’s Don Lemon and Anderson Cooper.

I live in the suburbs. They might be shocked at what my ex military neighbor and I could bring to that fight if they did decide to come here....

Can't back this up with data but I've been told the highest per capita amount of guns in the state is my county. From what I've seen and heard talking to neighbors and others I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

Can he buy a gun this week in NJ ? Will the “laws” he and others didnt pay any attention to while being forced upon get in their way? How many rounds are now being realized is a necessity instead of a want?

And the biggie.... did ya say, I told you so.. yet
His friend now lives in Philly, can buy without a license or permit. CCW permit is available.

I have already hooked up one family member that was a fence sitter. Now my Trumper fudd uncle is wanting a .38 pistol to keep beside his chair. 79 y and lives alone. Said he is to old to run get his double barrel, lol

There is a difference between being amused and happy. I also find it amusing that the same people who asked 'why do you need' are the ones looking to aquire. I sure am not dancing on their experience in trying to gain protection.

I have a few on my street that have asked how to buy something now. My answer is not as easily as you were told. They respond with 'well just go to your house'.

Youre right, maybe I misinterpretted @Dave951 , and for that I apologize to him

Dave I apologize for mis reading your post.

But, as far as THIS post, again, anyone that is willing to buy and EXPERIENCE a gun is a good thing. Learn that they arent this horrible thing that the media can/has/will portray them to be, see them for a tool. A tool that IS deadly, but is also only deadly when in the WRONG hands. Learn how fun it is to go and shoot and develop a skill. To BS around with other gun owners, realize how GREAT the gun COMMUNITY really is.
