i want to start shooting my 300 out to 2-300yds. So far I've been using subs inside of 100yds almost exclusively.

assuming a 1x dot style optic, what's the best zero to run if I'll be mixing subs and supers?

Interested in this too. I've been using BUIS (under 100) and have recently relocated an old 1-4 to my 300.

I honestly believeyour best option is to get one of those scopes which has dual options for Super and Subs since the trajectories are so different

I've been doing similar research and landed in the same spot. However, being Christmas and not having extra money, I haven't moved forward yet.

The Nikon 300blk scope seems like a suitable option to try.

Does Eotech still offer their 300blk version which had dots for both types...that would be a decent option too.

I think it's similar to 7.62x39. Something like zero at 25 yards for 150 yards? Primary Arms has some optics that are supposedly calibrated for blackout you might give a look.

Maybe you could get an easily adjustable turret model and figure out your adjustments. I've not come up with anything that works and I got it for subs anyhow so i just go with that...

I shoot supers zeroed at 25. I never could find any generally accepted zero distance when I first got the 300 so I just experimented and landed on 25 yards. For me, this means:

25 = 0
50 = +3"
100 = +6"
150 = +3"
200 = 0
(300 BLK, 125gr Homebrew, 9"bbl, 2MOA RedDot)
YMMV

I haven't taken the time to see how this works suppressed, but I will someday...

I have no idea, but let me teach you all how I do find this info out.

All I need is the following:
* bullet brand, weight and BC
*FPS your ammo shoots at

Then I will show you how to get the right info.
