308 AR Adjustable Gas Block Recommendations?

I suspect my 308 AR is overgassed and would like to try an adjustable gas block to see how it reacts to it.

This is new to me. Any advice regarding a quality brand/model?

If it matters, the upper, lower and barrel are Aero and pretty much everything else internally, including the BCG is KAK Industries.

I've always liked SLR clamp on gas blocks. Not the cheapest option, but they've worked well for me.

You'll just need to know what diameter your gas block journal is. A set of micrometers is helpful for aligning the gas port. Or a piece of spaghetti

I don't have a 308 AR anymore but from what I've read, many factory builds are over gassed

SLR or Superlative Arms are the go to, in my experience.

Slr all day. Every once and a while shoot some kroil or clp on the adjustment screw and give it some clicks in and out so it doesn't carbon lock.

SLR Sentry, it's the only gas block I put on an AR anymore.

I bought a superlative after this thread and have been impressed. Seems to have fixed my overgassed Armalite.
