31 day Form 1 P320

Out of curiosity, where would one place the required NFA engraving on a P320 SBR? The FCU being the legal firearm and not "conspicuously" visible makes that situation a little weird.

On the fire control group box, which is the serialized part. Once removed from the chassis it is conspicuously visible :).

Luckily that is one of the parts of the NFA no one really cares about.

Excellent choice. Do you plan on getting an optic for it? I'd highly recommend one. The iron sights are kinda weird to use close up.

If the German Army still issued stocked pistols to its artillery, this is what it would look like.

Second the suggestion for an optic. A short barrel means tiny sight radius and I promise you, your sight won't improve over the next couple decades 😉.

Is there room to mount an optic on the shelf behind the slide? The B&T USW (like this) has the site behind the slide.

That's a sweet setup.

Am I understanding correctly that your form 1 got approved in 31 days?

That's great. I thought approval times had gotten longer under current management.
The doom and gloom is somewhat exaggerated for now. If they rule pistols NFA I think you’ll see waiting times explode.

Has anyone seen the forgotten weapons video on the USW 320? He had a horrible time with parallax on red dots with this setup.

I hadn't seen that.

I think the optic on his gun might be the wrong choice for the job. Unfortunately, one could go through a ton of money trying them all. Scopes cost more than holsters and we all have a bunch if them.

Very nice.
I'm a little more interested in their BWC, and it turns out capital armory had preorders going that i missed out on.
not affordable, but i'll probably get a 2nd mortgage on my house or something.

For Form4, absoluteley.
ATF told everybody they redid eforms, encouraged everybody to use eforms, advertised they had an approval goal of 90 days...
and last i heard they're prioritizing paper forms again because there are less bugs to work out. if you check the wait time thread, you'll see some have been waiting about a year for our 90day eforms. i'm only at about 7 months myself...
