50/50 fun day at range

Took the P229 and P226 to the local range for quality alone time. Both are 40SW, with SRT, the P229 is my EDC. Both have ~equal range time. For some reason, I’m consistently more accurate with the P229. Shot at an indoor range, same ammo, 15 feet. Don’t understand why there is a difference in accuracy between the two.

Uh,, typo on the pair of 229's. I see the target says a 226 & a 229.



Have you tried each one at 25 yds? There is where serious accuracy will begin to show you the differences.

I'd shoot a p229 better if I took 2 of them also. 😜

Doesn’t the P229 have thinner grips? I’m betting you can wrench down on the P229 a bit better. Maybe try thinner grips on the P226 if that’s the case. I have short fingers and can shoot my super snappy Para Carry 45 as good or better than almost all my other pistols including the full sized ones.
