Is this a paper only form or can it be filed electronically? Didn't see it on the eforms site but found the pdf on the ATF website. For the dates, can you put the whole year? I travel to SC multiple times a year and would like to be able to do so without having to file each time. For the Reason for Transportation box is there a generic response folks use or is "Because I want to" good enough? Thanks

I've always used "Training and Competition" as the reason. Have not been denied. And I file for 12 months at a time.

You can’t file it using eForms, but you can email it in.

You can do up to a full year, and it doesn’t even have to be a calendar year. Just make sure the end date it one day prior than the start. For example, all of these are good:
1/1/23-12/31/23
5/15/23-5/14/24
6/1/23-5/31/24

You just can’t file for something like 5/8/23-5/8/24.

My current ones all have “all lawful reasons” as the reason.

ETA: I’ve used some combination of “all lawful/legal reasons/purposes” every time
