6.5 Savage lrp 300 yard group

Not sure how I pulled this one off. 4 rounds@ 0.55" with the shot I pulled, it's 1". That's at 300 yards with 140gr eld hand loads!!! Hell, I'm super impressed with this rifle after today.

We shot a few more groups, never larger than 1.5" at that distance.

She's a keeper! I forgot to mention, this was laying in the dirt, off a bipod and a rear bag.

Going back out Saturday. We tried to use the magneto speed, but it wasn't working for some reason, the book said 2650fps, so I strelok, I put 2700 in, with the data and that had me spot on at 300. Hopefully it'll work then. Even with the 1.5" groups, I was still tickled with that.

1.5" at 300 yds is outstanding, IMO. Hell, I was tickled pink to hold 3" at 300 yds with my AR.

What was the magnetospeed doing? I have one and never have let me down unless it was a setting I did (for 22lr) To correct velocity with ballistic table you need to be 500 min. 6.5 flys flat.

I don't recall, my friend, who's the owner was holding and messing with the screen, I'll ask him tomorrow.
