9mm through a 5.56 can

Are they really going to warranty that thing?
They have a crazy record of honoring some dumb stuff. Usually no charge at all. If for some reason something isn’t repairable, they’ll sell you one at 75% off.

I think they even honored one where the shooter’s friend shot a round through the side of the can (using a different firearm, not a bullet that somehow went way off kilter)...but I can’t remember for sure. I know there’s somebody out there with a rimfire can that they ended up removing one baffle and shortening the tube.

But, they do say (or at least they did in the past) that they’ll warranty stupid...once.

Although...I think Rugged is the one that says they’ll honor their warranty even if you lose the can off the side of a cliff. I don’t see it on their site now, no maybe they changed it. Or it’s just on their warranty card or something. Here’s their warranty and some example pics of cans destroyed.

Dead Air does a pretty dang good job as well. The industry as a whole has a pretty decent rep. It’s such a niche market that a little good publicity goes a long way...and people don’t forget the bad publicity for a long time.

Funny that it’s not on the page anymore...but shows up in the preview. 😁

I’m surprised it didn’t just explode.
The brake is really taking the brunt of it, shaving down that .355” bullet down to ~.25” and the excess material going out the ports filling up the blast chamber. It looks like they finally stopped shooting once the blast chamber filled up haha

Took 100 rounds to notice that nothing is hitting target.
Because they aren’t used to hitting the target. So everything was normal.

I agree that brake saved the can. Had it been a normal thread on not a quick attach, I'd suspect the first round would have turned the guts out and downrange.
