ok.
SF, CA.

quote:
"I woke up to the sound of you know, like, drilling. It was extremely loud," said Morgan Heller, who lives nearby.
She immediately called police. Officers from Richmond Station arrived at scene within minutes.
But even though Heller and her roommate never lost sight of the suspect,
and the officers were talking to him, they wouldn't arrest him.
"I heard them say, ‘You are free to go,’" Heller said.

additionally.....

The car was filled with catalytic converters,
spilling out of the trunk and the back seat of the car,
after it crashed on the highway near "hospital curve."

He came at me with the power tool so I shot him. I was in fear for my life.

my HQ was north of SF (Novato).
i always liked to visit the home office
which meant i flew into the parallel runways
of SFO. two takeoff or two land at the same time.
SF was beautiful back then. not now. hate to see it.

People been dispensing justice long before it became a govt function. If govt, has a mind to interfere, well then it is best reminded to mind its own business, like it did initially..

They could not ID him because of computer outage? Arrest him and book him as a John Doe.

Officers admitted to the women that their computer systems were down, which meant they couldn't positively ID
the suspect or find the owner of the Honda. So without enough evidence, they let the suspect go.

They know there is zero chance of prosecution, so why bother with the arrest and paperwork?
