That thread must be in politics, I don’t have access.
Where was this court in 1992?
Now let’s see if this affects New York State.

It’ll get appealed to a really anti 2a court next, but it feels like this judge wrote his ruling with an eye towards this being a case that ends up at the Supreme Court.
Looks like I've a liberty loving Scot family member taking on the Kaliffornia tyranny.
Not sure what to make of this...PSA posting one thing and now Buds Gun Shop just posted this on their website:
Unfortunately, we are still unable to sell high capacity magazines to our CA customers. The recent court ruling only blocked a 2016 law that would have made high capacity magazines already owned by CA residents illegal to possess or sell.
Interesting that many cases are brought in the 9th and have impact on the rest of the country. It's only valid in the Ninth Circuit's area. It should force a Supreme Court hearing for the rest of the country.
There have been some cases in the past where the gun grabbers lost at the Circuit Court level, and decided to let it stand. If they go for broke and lose at the Supreme Court, the ruling applies to the whole country. They will count their votes and if it doesn't look good, they will stop there. Until they have the votes, we know they are like the Terminator and will never stop until they have everything they want, which is everything. No doubt the State of CA will pull some appeal on this.
Predictably, no one is running mag deals right now as they cater to the CA market for however long that lasts. Before the ruling, it was easy to find PMags for $8 shipped. Now, they are back to "regular" price of $12ish and up.
Perhaps I should start this as a new thread...Interesting that many cases are brought in the 9th and have impact on the rest of the country.
But doesn't CA have a detachable magazine ban in effect? I know they purchase normal magazines now, but I don't think they can legally use them in AR's
The AR Maglock keeps you legal.
Give trump another term with a republican senate and he will fix that "For the first time in more than three decades, Republican-appointed judges will soon occupy nearly half the seats on the left-leaning 9th Circuit Court of Appeals -- dealing a setback to progressive legal advocates who have long seen the court as a safe bet for favorable rulings."The 9th has a mind of their own. They don’t seem to follow the constitution. The only good thing going for it is that Trump has appointed a number of more conservative judges to it. Our only hope is that that makes a difference when the appeal is herd and final judgement made. It’s likely this case could go to the SC.
Need to split up the ninth circus.
