More than one LEO friend has told me you aren’t very likely in debating your way out of a ticket on the roadside but it’s prety damn easy to debate yourself into one or even worse cuffs.

If you make enough stops eventually you'll find the roadside lawyer. Every cop with more than 12 months on the job has their story to tell. I guess if all they dealt with were intelligent people it would be a pretty boring job....
I wonder at what point she realized that her arguments were being ignored/over ruled?? Or, did she ever realize it??

I haven't gone back to listen to the whole encounter again, but apparently she told the officer that she "practiced law".

I still haven't had any luck trying to find the court results.
 
If I am not mistaken GA is a Stop & ID state so you must provide ID under state statutes if a LEO suspects you of committing a crime which technically she was only guilty of an infraction but since she’s stopped driving a motor vehicle on a public road she has to provide proof of a license and insurance when a LEO requests it of a driver.

If all she is doing is walking down the sidewalk she would have some legal basis to stand on but committing an infraction behind the wheel on a public road ... she’s asking for it.
