Aaron Hernandez Hangs Himself in Prison

Celebrities usually aren't treated the best by other inmates from what I understand.
 
Why bother fighting a double murder charge to clear your name if you're already on the hook for one murder (no name to clear), then kill yourself? And clearly it wasn't for his own conscience, because he'd know either way if he did it or not.

Not that I really care, but I think he got helped into that noose.

well if he didn't murder them then the real killer is out there still. saying that, i'm not current on the story, but in general if they have the wrong man then the real killer needs to be caught and tried.

Well then, by that logic, Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman's killer is still out there, too.

I'm not saying everyone who's brought up on charges is guilty due to the DA simply filing charges.....but the jury is the voting body, regardless of who the killer really was. They can set free a guilty man and lock up an innocent man. It cuts both ways

O.J will track down the real killers right after he's found the killer of Ron Goldman and Nichol Brown.

But if it wasn't Odin, it would have been a Zeus or a Poseiden later on. This guy was a ticking time bomb who was a sociopath, paranoid, other more serious mental problems.
 
Damn, there goes my pitching the sequel "LONGEST YARD II" starring Hernandez ... just what we'd need another Adam Sandler movie :rolleyes:

Sounds like his brain will be donated to Boston University's CTE Center. While his suicide may be completely unrelated to CTE, I would not be surprised at all if they find evidence of CTE in his brain.
 
An interesting twist in the case seems to be that because his conviction gets vacated, the Patriots are still on the hook for the $15M remaining on his guarantee. Given all the legalese involved, it would be hard to believe his lawyer did not help him reach the terminal decision.
Word is he wanted to leave his daughter financially secure. Of course that assumes the baby mamma doesn't blow it all.
