Accurate #5 in 45acp

Loaded 9.0gr under a 200gr plated HP (extreme) and they shot one ragged hole at 30’.

Funny thing is that I’ve had this pound of #5 sitting around for a few years and never tried it. Used it all up today and now I want more.

I used to use AA #5 when I first started reloading and it’s a great powder. But I did a double take at the 9.0 grain load! Sure enough that’s valid but my mind said KABOOM! I guess I got used to throwing 4.0 gr of Bullseye for so many years

Yeah, it’s not nearly as cost effective as bullseye.

Shooters World Auto Pistol is very near the same as AA#5, in case you can find that.
