Hi

I have two new purchases and need to decide on some optics.

One is a Smith and Wesson M&P 12 bullpup shotgun.

The other is a Springfield Hellion.

I am leaning towards some type of red dot system for both. I am not going to be hunting or doing any kind of target practice for distance 🙂

Both are for fun at the range and self defense if at all needed.

I am not looking to break the bank with my purchase.

Thanks for any advice.

Primary Arms 3x prism for the hellion

Thank you for the suggestion. Any particular comments that you have on this one?

Here's a cheap option for the Hellion. They have a low profile mount included.

If you're looking to get out super cheap just buy two of these-

I have a couple of them. They’re rock solid, usable with or without illumination. Etched reticle, so if the battery dies you’re still good to go. Clear glass with good field of view.

Honestly, they’re an EoTech level optic at 1/2 the price.

This! ^^^^^^

Sample of one, but I have not had good results with the PA 1x. Killed two of them and then swore them off.
