Aero precision ARs

Next year I plan on putting a lot of rounds through my main rifle next year. It is a Anderson lower and a PSA upper. Would the Aero upper be a good investment?

Much better IMHO. I'd build it on an Aero lower too, if it was mine

IMO, I think it depends on how your rifle now performs. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Decide what you like and don't like about what you have, then decide whether a new rifle can fix all the "don't likes".

And.... almost nothing gun related is a good "investment" my friend!

My buddy bought one of their oem rifles mid length gas. It’s awesome for the $$. He paid $550 for it and added the rail and stock he wanted.

Aero does make some nice stuff. I bought one of their completed uppers in April. It was the ATLAS-S One handguard with 18" barrel version. Fit and finish on it was excellent and the upper is super light!

One note I will mention about that specific handguard is that Aero did not leave much extra space in it for even a low profile gas block.

I spent over two months chasing accuracy issues (stringing and flyers) and sent the upper back to Aero twice for barrel replacement. Sadly they had failed to install the gas block correctly three times (original build and two rebarrels). It was contacting the inside of the handguard; thus the stringing and flyers. YMMV

Someone remind me around 6 pm tonight to post a pic of my Aero pistol build....she's a purdy lil gal..

I’ve helped a couple people who bought this ...

... added their choice of buttstock (CTR mostly), replaced the A2 grip, flat trigger guard and added their choice of rail (since rails required new barrel nut each time I properly torqued it back). After that I did check ‘em with a good optic and with bulk ammo every one was under 2 MOA ... didn’t run any match or handloads but with good ammo 1 MOA would probably not be out of the question. After the owners started messing with them ... irons, optics, trigger, etc I never heard anything bad come back. With proper weight management they do stay nice and trim.

One person bought their pistol version in .300BO, we did the same thing and that thing runs but super and sub loads with no problems.

I’ve built a handful of AR’s off of aero uppers/lowers. For the money you really can’t beat their quality. I haven’t had any issues thus far.

The last rifle I built was 90% aero parts. Upper and lower, bcg, BA barrel owned by aero, and a vg6 brake owned by aero. It runs like a top.

This chunky gal was built using an Aero upper & lower and an Aero parts kit (sans trigger). I replaced the trigger with a Geissele NM
