Recently picked up a Aero 10.5 upper for a pistol build, and could only find the upper with the s-one rail. Wanted the r-one, but got what was available.

Little did I know that having a useable light solution was next to impossible on that rail. A friend sent me a link to this, and it works far better than I expected.

Are there no MLOK switches available? Or did you specifically want the switch at 12o’clock?

That's actually pretty cool! Didn't know anyone was making aero-specific aftermarket

It's the ONLY aftermarket company I've found to make accessories for the s-one rail.

They also make switch mounting solutions for other types of switches.

I wasn’t familiar with the S-One and was unaware it didn’t have a rail the full length of the handguard…I have a couple of Midwest 10.5 handguards that are just like that, but I mount my switch at 9 and do a direct bolt-up to the handguard instead of having to use a rail section.

For a 12 mount switch on those types of handguards, that’s about the cleanest solution I’ve seen…looks great!

I wonder if it will work with other hand guards that don’t have full length rail, but do have MLOK at 3 & 9

This what I’m dealing with, it’s far too bulky. It’s a Kinetic Industries QD MLOK rail section with laser/light switch. image.jpg

It "clips in" to the the holes at 1:30 and 10:30, and is designed specifically to the shape of the S-one rail. Unless there's another rails with the same exact shape cutouts in those positions, I don't see it working on them.

I specifically wanted it at 12. I tried it at 3 and 9, but it just didn't "feel right" on the 9 inch rail.
Gotcha, i too like 12 but I do a TLR-1HL in front of the buis.
I have one S-One rail but I don’t run a light on that rifle. If I found a great deal on an R-One, I would swap it though, just for a little more flexibility.
