I have three G19s (yeah, yeah. I'm a prepper. "Two is one, one is none.")
Been thinking about playing around with one and dropping in a trigger and maybe a magwell.
Anybody have experience with different aftermarket triggers that could make a recommendation?

I have one that has an Apex trigger. It's OK. My others have factory triggers. I've never had a problem with the factory trigger. I always polish up all of the contact points when I get one and forget about it. One thing that helps me is all of my years shooting double action revolvers.

I've done just the opposite of what most of you folks would do...I've made some of my Glocks stiffer by instaling the NY-1 and NY-2 triggers.

Double action revolvers have anything to do with that?

Ha. You know it. It's funny. I cannot shoot anything with a light or single-action trigger. Have a couple really nice 1911s and, at this point, have no use for them.

Ya know the NY-1 with a (-) connector and a little polishing is a really nice carry trigger...

That said. I don't do aftermarket unless it's a competition gun...

I'm quite happy with a Ghost Pro 3.3 connector, competition reset and plunger spring, polish everything including the slide stop where it rubs the shoe. Also tweaked the trigger bar, if you don't want to do that I think it's the DK trigger bar that is oft recommended. Rolling break, much lower pull, shorter overall travel.
There are many cheaper connectors, but then I'd have to go another route to reduce overtravel, and most don't get rid of the "wall" I don't like a two stage feel.
Striker springs make a big difference but aren't worth the potential downsides.

I use Ghost Triggers Ultimate connectors in every Glock.

I have the Apex and the Overwatch Precision Trigger/Trigger Bar. I find the Apex to feel lighter (4.2-4.5 lb) vs the Overwatch (4.5).

I do like them both, and I prefer the feel of a flat trigger over the OEM.

I am very happy with 3.5# connector, competition trigger spring, and 25-cent polish job. I know people love the various aftermarket trigger kits, but I can't justify the cost vs the DIY trigger.

Apex shoes are good. Easily installed into a 43 anyway.

I really like the Overwatch TAC with a Ghost 3.5 on my RS

If carrying I just polish the contact points and be done. If you want a light trigger for range use I recommend orange county Custom triggers. They use factory parts but they have set screws to take out most of the take up. That and a spring kit I have a touch less then 3lbs on my race gun.

Ghost #3.5 and shoot the snot out of it.

Overwatch TAC
OEM (-) connector with high polish
Wolff XP trigger spring
Wolff RP firing pin block spring
High polish on firing pin block and firing pin "heel"
Copious range sessions.

This is for a game gun only.

Overwatch leaves all safeties intact while significantly improving trigger feel.

I used to think aftermarket triggers were stupid but broke down and bought one anyway. Crow tastes better with salt.

I do the polishing job with flitz. Slicker than owl poop.

I do like the CMC flat triggers in my AR's and kinda wanna buy one for the Glock... But it's pricey.
