Finally went to replace the battery in our 03 Suburban. It's a 5.3 with the higher output alternator, but I'm only getting maybe 3 years out of a group 78 battery. SO this time we went with the AGM Autocraft Platinum battery from Advance Auto. It wasn't much more, and with 30% off code we bought it online and picked up in store.

I think it was around $153 OTD after core charge.

Anyhow, it's reserve capacity is 115 minutes, and it's a 60 AH battery, with around 900 CCA.

Supposedly twice the life of normal flooded cell batteries, with better hot and cold temp capability.

Three years is very short if you're not running the battery down regular. You might want to have a draw check performed on your vehicle if you aren't doing something purposely.

My experience with AGM is unless you need to mount them sideways or upside down there's no real advantage. They fail just as often at least in commercial trucks and police cars.
