Another Northern native has left the Frozen North. Been down here about a month now. Still adjusting to the increased traffic and the temperatures... 😆. I decided to sell my condo that I bought two years ago in New Hampshire for profit to pay off student loans and other consumer debt. Because the NH housing market is ridiculous selling meant I was priced out of buying or even renting up there. My parents moved down to York, SC 8 years ago and so I decided to "take the money and run." Currently living in their house until I've saved up enough for a nice down payment to buy my own place here.
Been into politics for too long (NH made it stupid easy to participate and run for office) and in 2019 I finally started competing in USPSA and Steel Challenge.
If you are a member on the Northeastshooters forum you've probably seen my posts (same screen name), though I haven't posted much in the last few years.
I'm looking forward to being able to compete more often since you can't compete for like 5-6 months a year up North.
