The real crates are still really scarce though.
The replicas appear to be the only ready option, so they can make the market to some degree, despite their somewhat silly business model.

Not sure what your intended purpose is but if its for a table etc you could probably pick up a mosin or sks crate that would look every bit the part. Cheers
