Two suspects were in custody and a law enforcment officer was injured after a person opened fire Saturday outside a Bass Pro Shops store in Spanish Fort, Ala., according to reports.

The gunman shot multiple times into the store's boat and ATV area outside the store, the Baldwin County Sherrif's Office said.

"He just shot up the entire place. He literally shot at least 50 times," store employee Davis Marrero told Mobile's WPMI-TV. "His wife had something to do with it, I know, because she was throwing ammo at him to actually reload and keep shooting.

"He was shooting two kinds of rifles, an AR-15 and what I'm told was an AR-10, which is also a .308, which is a more powerful round," Marrero continued.

One responding officer suffered minor injuries and was treated and released, WPMI reported.

I thought it was a joke when they said his wife was throwing him ammo so he could keep shooting.

He was probably pissed at the prices of new boats.

They have gone thru the roof.

Where I'm from, in Alabama, you find a wife like that in one of two old redneck bars that I used to frequent... The Hosses Trough and The Spider Web...
 
There was a good old boy named "Hoss". He opened and named The Hoss's Trough and ran it till he died...

I have no idea how they named The Spider Web, but it was the rowdier of the two.

Most people started drinking at the Hoss's Trough, got drunk, went to The Spider Web, and woke up in the county jail...

We only have two places here that can be considered a bar. One is Oslo's and the other is the Airport Lounge. Same deal. Start at Oslo's, hit up the Airport, then either home, hospital, or jail.
 
There used to be a place called Tobacco Road near Dobson, NC. It was an interesting place.

Ouside of Elkin, About a mile from me. It was a very interesting place. ATF tried to shut down the last show there. They think they saw somebody drinking out of a jar in the parking lot........
From what parts i can remember, they stopped selling alcohol at the show so coolers started showing up everywhere. There was more alcohol in the cars in the parking lot than at the show.

I said Dobson but now I think it was between State Road and Elkin. I only went there once. We were only there for a few minutes when my buddy came back to the table and said we needed to leave. Some guy went in the restroom where my buddy was and started mouthing off. My buddy left him on the floor. We were Virginia boys and strangers to the bar, we left before everyone found out.

Maybe this is why they cancel all of our ammo orders. So we donā€™t have anything to shoot up their stores with.
