Another Aldi Pork Shoulder

It was time for another Aldi Pork Shoulder roast. They put too much BBQ sauce on them for our taste so, I wash off as much of it as I can and use my own seasoning. These things usually run around 3 pounds and there is nearly zero waste. I just throw it the crock pot and cook until the internal temp hits 205. 205 is just right for pulling it apart.



Plated up with some slaw and homemade bread. It's so simple and so good. Try one sometime.

Not bad when you don't have time or patience to smoke a butt.
I like the Costco boneless butt. Comes in two pieces. My new favorite rub is Kinder Woof Fired Garlic.
