Another Battery Oaks Custom Shop Special

Ok. I ask because it's a safety issue. Factory bobbed is sans SA notch. Once one figures out that a bobbed hammer can be SA cocked the road to an ND is more than halfway traveled

Good eye. No, I think Vt is the importer. I assume the number is a rack number from whatever PD had them and subsequently sold them. This was one of the J&G surplus guns they were selling a while back without barrels. I originally intended to change out the ejector rod to the longer one and make a 3” slab sided deal. I fooled around and found a 3” shooter k-frame elsewhere and found a good 2” bbl for this one. It was then installed by the trained pros at Battery Oaks Custom Shop (“We cut while you wait!”) and I later bobbed the hammer.

S&W logo on LEFT side. Seems like Century brought them back in to the U.S. - from where, who knows. Maybe France...or Spain.

Seems that there may be some import rules about revolvers with barrels under 3" - the Century guns may have been imported w/o barrels.
