Any concealed carry classes out there catering to more experienced shooters? Im an instructor and I shoot a lot of matches I consider myself a little above intermediate. Looking to get with an expert and see how I can improve and what I'm doing right.

I may not be getting you right here, but it sounds like you want to get your permit but don't want to blow a day on a super basic class to get it. If that's right, then I think you're out of luck. The NC concealed carry class is full of state mandated material, very little of which has anything to do with shooting, and none of which has to do with defensive tactics and such. Your fellow students will generally be super beginners. The instructors won't have time or ability to give you serious instruction on how to shoot better.

In your shoes, I'd be looking instead for an instructor with higher-level legal training (like Ayoob's MAG 40 or Andrew Branca's Law of Self Defense Instructor class), who actually gives solid, thorough and competent legal material. If you go to a standard concealed carry class, your instructor has less than 4 hours of actual training on that stuff at the NCDOJ, and is likely to be completely inept at conveying it. They will often just read through the book at you.

But the thing you're looking for, as far as I know, doesn't really exist. As you know if you are an instructor, if you restrict a class to experienced shooters, you still get students who don't know which way to point the gun make the thingies come out.

Please define what you mean by "advanced". Also, which entity(s) certified you?

I already have my permit I carry every day I'm just looking for a place/ instructor to help build my abilities. preferably more than shooting a b27 target at 3 5 and 7. Im not a uspsa grand master or anything but i like to think im decently ok. for ccw i have a 1.53 average draw to first shot at 10 yards. i want to work with a professional to see if i can get better and see where my training is lacking and how to most efficiently improve.

I got my instructor certification with the nra for handgun actively working on getting certified for rifle I don't teach many students I did it for fun i like helping new shooters and I try to go to 2 or 3 different shooting classes every year for different disciplines. For more "advanced" classes id like to learn some things like drawing while grappling, shooting from compromised positions high stress scenario stuff.

John Murphy of FPF Training will be at the Red Hill Range in Martin, GA, for an excellent class in February. Red Hill Range is off of I-85 just inside the GA line from SC.

I'd also suggest that you look into the Rangemaster classes.

Reach out to Gil Narvaez at Fortitude Consulting.
I have taken two classes with Gil and he is a great instructor and a great guy.
He is very good at getting your grip better and your draw faster.

In addition to the preceding recommendations, your self-description sounds as if it fits ATR, just up the road from you in Hickory, to a tee … https://atr.training/

We'll be rolling out some courses for 2023 soon. Two of the instructors, one is my staff, also work with Travis Haley. They travel all over the country, civilians, LEO's and DOD. You won't find a better training course I can promise you. I've been to a lot. This is the only group I will let come in and use my facilities.

Try Jericho Tactical https://www.jerichotactical.com/

Classes are geared to being able to quickly draw from concealed and shoot accurately from different positions and yardages, from cover and while moving.
He does most of the training now at Foothills in Cherryville and at his indoor fitness and scenario facility and outdoor range in Iron Station where he also does force on force training.

There are also a number of groups who train people further west at the Tactical Farm.

Try Black Rifle Training https://www.facebook.com/macandscott BlackRifleTraining
They have an excellent vehicular defense class and do low light/no light as well as other classes.

Daniel Richardson is also a competitor and you may like his classes as well. I took one of his at Hyatt Farms.

I don't know Dan but he's a former Gastonia police officer https://offshootacademy.com/index.php

Here's another: https://www.facebook.com/strategicdynamicsllc

I've taken the course at 37PSR and thought it was very well done. It's a full day course where you get to shoot a lot of rounds. They provided the basic skills and drills, but practice is where it really pays off.
