I'm trying to locate the "Factory Code" so I can reprogram the touchpad entry code. The owners manual is missing and I can't seem to locate the RAP module.

Can I retrieve it with my VIN anywhere without going to the dealer?

On my 11 250 I dropped the glove box and it was way back up behind the radio. It can be seen from both sides if you can contort your neck like a goose.

No way to retrieve from the VIN but on some vehicles it's on the module. Tell me what you're driving and and I'll look up where it's located on your vehicle tomorrow at work.

This is from the Ford shop manual:

Vehicles equipped with a keyless entry keypad are programmed with a factory set 5-digit entry code. This code is provided to the customer on a wallet card in the Owner's Literature package. In addition, this code is available through the use of a scan tool and is printed on the BCM label located on the back side of the module (installed position).

The BCM (Ford also calls this the Smart Junction Box but it's basically the fuse box) should be located in the right kick panel. You'll probably have to remove the panel to get to it and take the box down to see the back. Just don't unplug the module (BCM) or it will have to be reconfigured.
