Yes, I have one similar (different name brand) and use it for a rough level. I still shoot one 3-5 shot group at 100 yds with a 100yd zero. Then dial up around 20 MOA or 10 Mils shoot another 3-5 shot group at the same point of aim as the first group. Then I use a plum Bob and make sure the 2 groups are in line with one another. If the top (second group) is either left or right of the bottom (first group) then make any necessary changes. Once both groups shoot on the same vertical line, you’re good to go.
Yes, a friend got one, I used it 3x and like the simplicity of it a lot.
Arisaka makes a similar kit that I picked up and like it a lot. I did not run into the issue but depending on the mount you may have issues keeping the kit on the mount if there is a thin spine on it, like on a geissele mount.

I’ve had 2 optics that sit too low in the mount to use the leveler properly.

Leveling a scope
What does the brain trust think about devices like arisaka scope leveler Or fixitstick scope jack vs levels and a plumb line to level a scope?
