Anyone else have an ARV?

I’ve been wanting to grab a 9mm AR variant for awhile but when I had my foxtrot Mike AR9 variant, as much fun as it was the aesthetics of it killed me (ie the Glock stick mags). Never an issue with the pistol, just wanted it to look purty and considering I didn’t have a lot of stick mags I was going to be dropping $40 a pop.

Fast forward to the other week, my buddy @Flipside1212 listed one up and I feel in love with aesthetics of it. Plus helped him and @jhorne had done a lot of cool upgrades.

Add in the fact I can snag PSA mags for $15 on sale or use CZ scorpion mags. I’m loving it and want the AKV version next

I have it exactly as pictures minus the MRO

Plan to add light, sling, and optic of my choice next

On my bucket list. Are you referring to the Glock mags looking like twigs in the magwell of a 9mm AR? I never could warm up to that either.

I'm loving mine. Changed out the handguard so my octane suppressor could fit under it. It's a blast to shoot.

Exactly, plus anytime I went into the probe just felt akward trying to reload

I’ve got it roughly set up way I want it.

Need to buy:
-an Arisaka 1” light mount cause I’ve got a Surefire 6p I can use laying around.
-mlok tape switch holder
-backup irons
-QD sling swivels for a magpul sling I’ve got laying around

Currently have the light mounted using a BCM 1” light mount but it’s just sticking out on the side like a sore thumb.

Rocking a frank proctor sling until I can run to Fuquay Gun and get what I need.

Thankfully @jhorne set this thing up right

Going to rock a Sig Romeo 5 on it until I can afford better

I LOVE mine! I have no clue how many mags I’ve run through it and zero issues. I have a Kriss and this is easily as enjoyable to shoot all day long.

that was a 3d printed one for a glock mag lower that i adapted. i have since replaced both with magwells from Taccom they work great
