"THE HAND WAS PROBABLY WORSE THAN IF ALL THE PREVIOUS WERE DONE AT ONE TIME."
Nope, wait until you get plantar fasciitis and have to have 3 shots in the sole of your foot. 1 in the heel, 1 dead middle of the instep and one right up against the ball of the foot. I knew the nurse pretty well. She said these shots are going to hurt like hell and there is nothing I can do to make them feel better. She handed me a towel to bite on and told me to grab hold of the stretcher rails. I kinda puckered real big on the one in the heel. The one in the ball of the foot made me wish for my momma, but the one in the instep almost made me pass out. I can tolerate a lot of pain but damn. When she got through I was soaking wet with sweat and I could hardly let go of the rails. I swear I left finger prints in the chrome. She made me sit up on the side of the bed for a few minutes before I got up so I wouldn't pass out. I got up, put my shoe on and looked at the rails on the stretcher. This is no lie, I bent both rails of the stretcher.
However, my last kidney stone put all the shots in my hands and my foot being done at one time to shame.
