Anyone in here have experience with Vogelzang wood stoves?

I have opportunity to pick up one at a reasonable price. Thinking about heating my shop with it.

We have the small cheap one from lowes we bought years ago.

Our house is 1200 Sq ft; it will keep the house comfortable. As long as you have clearance around it and a good chimney, go for it.

About 17 years ago I received a Vogelzang barrel stove kit from my mother in law for Christmas. It's still in use in my barn. Works very well, all things considered. I'm still using the original barrel's too.

Mine is the double barrel version.

Good brand. Is it EPA rated? If not, good for occasional use. Best thing EPA ever did was allow the wood stove industry to decide how to increase efficiency and reduce particulates. They nailed it.

I have an EPA rated 1992 Vermont Castings stove in the shop and an EPA rated 2023 Hearthstone Green Mountain 40 in the house. Both are fantastic stoves.

I have a small one in my shop with a heat reclaimer in the chimney stack.
