There are a bunch of traditional archery shoots. Try barefoot archery. They have 3D shoots. It's not chinese specific but a good bunch of dudes. That's in Charlotte.
Barefoot is hunting focused from what I understand. Im not a member there but I couple of my friends are. They have a face book page and tradgang is a forum for traditional archery. Whatever you do don't talk about compounds there. It's truly against the rules.Yeah I’m going to try the Traditional Archery club in Conover this weekend. They have an open to the public day first of the month. They do a 3D course free if it’s your first time. I’m not the most accurate shooting thumb release so I figure I’ll go embarrass myself!!

Just curious, why don't you shoot 3 under or 1 over 2 under?

Cool I figured that was the reason. I don't know if I could pull my 60# hill style bow like that. This is purely Chinese style. Thumb release off the “wrong side” of the bow
